A tool that takes a rough product idea — a few sentences, a voice note transcript, a Slack message — and turns it into a structured product spec.
The problem
The blank page is the biggest bottleneck in product work. Not the thinking — the formatting. Writing a spec from scratch means starting from zero every time, even when the shape of a good spec is always roughly the same.
The approach
Built on top of the Claude API. The user pastes in a raw idea, and the tool asks a small number of clarifying questions before generating a full spec with problem statement, success criteria, open questions, and out-of-scope items.
The outcome
Reduced the time from 'rough idea' to 'something I can share with engineering' from hours to minutes. Used internally as an experiment in AI-assisted product work.
